How to submit a complaint or claim
Contact GreenOK:
- by email: [email protected];
- by post or in person: SIA “Ražošanas Tehnoloģijas”, Brīvības iela 144,
Rīga, LV-1012, Latvia; - by telephone for initial contact: +371 29421630.
To enable us to find the case and assess it properly, please provide, where
possible:
- your first name, surname and means of contact;
- the date of the complaint and the order number/date;
- the goods, the nature of the problem and the grounds for the claim;
- your preferred resolution;
- a receipt, order confirmation, photographs, correspondence or other available
evidence.
An electronic submission from a consumer does not have to be signed. The
absence of evidence or photographs is not in itself an automatic ground for
refusal if the case can be checked in another way. GreenOK may reasonably ask
for the disputed goods to be made available for inspection.
You may also submit a notice of withdrawal using the Withdrawal
Form. Disputing a payment with your bank does not in itself replace
a notice of withdrawal or a complaint to GreenOK.
Response time
GreenOK provides a written, reasoned response within 15 working days of
receiving the submission. If objective reasons make it impossible to respond
within that time, we will inform you of the reason and a reasonable new time
for the response.
If we reject a claim in whole or in part, we state the factual and legal
reasons. Failure to respond within the period prescribed by law is deemed a
refusal to satisfy the consumer’s claim.
Goods that do not conform to the contract
A consumer may bring a claim concerning non-conformity of goods within two
years of delivery. Inform GreenOK of the non-conformity discovered within two
months of discovering it. If the problem appears during the first year after
delivery, it is presumed to have existed at the time of delivery, unless that
is incompatible with the nature of the goods or the defect.
The consumer is first entitled to choose to require GreenOK to remedy the
non-conformity free of charge or replace the goods, unless the chosen remedy is
impossible or entails disproportionate costs compared with the other remedy.
A price reduction or cancellation of the contract may be requested in the
cases specified in Article 28 of the Consumer Rights Protection Law. If the
non-conformity is minor and cannot materially affect use of the goods,
cancellation of the contract and a refund cannot be requested; GreenOK must
prove that the non-conformity is minor. Claims concerning non-conformity of
goods are considered in accordance with the procedure laid down by law.
Out-of-court resolution
If an agreement with GreenOK is not reached, the consumer may use:
- the Consumer Rights Protection Centre’s dispute resolution
process; - the Consumer Dispute Resolution
Commission; - another competent out-of-court dispute resolution body or a court.
The former European Union ODR platform has closed, and GreenOK does not
refer to it.
Privacy and accessibility complaints
You may complain about the processing of personal data to the Data State
Inspectorate. You may contact the Consumer Rights Protection Centre about
the accessibility of the e-commerce service; GreenOK handles accessibility
complaints under the one-month procedure set out on the Accessibility
page.
Preventing duplicate refunds
The same amount is not refunded twice. During a payment dispute, GreenOK may
submit evidence of the order, delivery, communications and refund to the
payment service provider and coordinate duplicate payouts. This does not limit
mandatory consumer rights or refund deadlines.
