Hereinafter in these terms – GreenOK.
2. Who these terms apply to
These terms govern the purchase of goods from the GreenOK online shop. The shop is primarily
intended for consumers; orders by legal entities and professional buyers are
placed under the separate B2B procedure described below.
A consumer is a natural person who makes a purchase for a purpose unrelated to
their business or professional activity. The status of a transaction with a mixed purpose is assessed
in accordance with applicable law and the actual circumstances. A company
name, VAT number or workplace address may help determine the purpose of a
purchase, but does not, in itself, automatically remove consumer status.
A buyer whose purpose of purchase, under applicable law and
the actual circumstances, is related to business or professional activity
is also subject to the separate B2B and Professional Purchase
Terms. The consumer’s 14-day right of
withdrawal does not apply to such a buyer; returns for reasons other than a lack of conformity are possible only
by prior written agreement with GreenOK.
The standard online shop checkout is intended for a retail
order, and the VAT shown at checkout applies. If you wish to place an order
in the name of a legal entity, obtain a written company invoice, agree individual professional
terms or have a possible cross-border VAT treatment assessed, contact GreenOK before submitting
the order: [email protected] or +371 29140290. GreenOK will
prepare a separate written offer/order and invoice; payment will be made by
bank transfer. A later request to change a retail order into
a company order does not, in itself, create an entitlement to a different price or VAT treatment.
3. Goods, prices and information
The main characteristics, quantity, volume or weight, composition, and use and
storage information for the goods are stated on the relevant product page and label. Before
use, always follow the current label on the product received and, where
applicable, the safety data sheet.
Product images and packaging. Product images illustrate the goods offered.
The colour shade of labels and packaging may differ slightly because of the print batch,
lighting or screen settings. The shape and visible fullness of flexible packaging,
such as a sachet, may differ from the image; this does not change
the stated net mass or volume. The goods delivered must correspond to the
product ordered, the stated composition, quantity and described characteristics.
Conditions of use and results. The results of using fertilisers
are affected by the properties and nutrient supply of the soil or growing medium,
the crop and its stage of development, moisture, weather conditions, dose, time of
application and cultivation practices. Results may therefore differ under
different growing conditions. Before use, please read all product instructions
carefully and follow the dose stated on the label. If you are unsure about
use or mixing with other products, consult GreenOK or a qualified specialist
before use. This explanation does not alter the characteristics stated in the product
description or any guarantees expressly given by GreenOK.
These explanations do not limit your statutory rights if the goods do not conform to
the contract.
Prices are stated in euros and include applicable value added tax. Delivery is
not included in the price of the goods unless expressly stated otherwise. The delivery charge
applicable to the particular basket, address and delivery method, and the order
total, are displayed before an order with an obligation to pay is submitted.
The price recorded in the order summary and confirmed by GreenOK is binding for the order.
Later changes to prices or delivery rates do not change the price of an order
that has already been confirmed.
4. Placing an order and correcting errors
The buyer selects the goods and variant, adds them to the basket, provides the required contact
and delivery information, selects an available delivery and payment method, checks
the summary and submits the order using a button that clearly indicates the obligation
to pay.
Until the order is submitted, the buyer can change the basket and correct the entered
contact information, address, and delivery and payment choices. The buyer is responsible for
the accuracy of the information entered and checks it before submission.
5. Conclusion of the contract
The contract between the Buyer and SIA “Ražošanas tehnoloģijas” is concluded automatically as soon as the Buyer places an order.
After the contract has been concluded, GreenOK cannot unilaterally increase the confirmed price or arbitrarily cancel the order.
6. Contract language, storage and confirmation
The contract is concluded in Latvian. The legally authoritative version is
the Latvian version. If a translation differs, the Latvian-language
version applies to the extent that this does not limit rights mandatorily applicable in the buyer’s country.
GreenOK retains the order information and the version of the terms applicable to it.
In the order confirmation sent to the buyer’s email address, we provide the applicable contract
information and information on withdrawal in a form that can be retained no later than the time
the goods are delivered. A customer account is an additional convenience, not the only copy
of the contract.
7. Payments
You can place orders in the online shop at any time of day. We begin processing the order on the next working day after payment is confirmed.
The payment methods available in the shop are displayed no later than the beginning of the ordering
process and at checkout for the particular order.
Payment by bank transfer must be made within three working days of receiving the invoice or payment details, unless otherwise agreed. Payment is considered received when the money is credited to GreenOK’s bank account.
If you expect a delay in payment, contact GreenOK before the payment deadline to agree an extension.
If payment is not made within the specified period, GreenOK may cancel the order and withdraw from the contract by notifying the buyer by email. We refund any payment received after cancellation of the order without undue delay.
Electronic payments are technically processed by Maksekeskus AS under the
MakeCommerce brand, as well as by the bank chosen by the buyer and, where applicable, the card
scheme. GreenOK does not normally receive the full payment card number. The specific
payment method and transaction status are saved with the order.
A company/B2B order uses a previously agreed written offer,
invoice and bank transfer, rather than automatic removal of VAT at the standard
checkout. GreenOK applies a possible 0% VAT rate to goods delivered to Lithuania or Estonia
only after checking the facts of the transaction: a valid VAT number from another Member State
is not sufficient on its own, and there must also be evidence that the goods were actually
dispatched or delivered to that Member State. If the number cannot be verified, the details
do not match, the verification system is unavailable, the goods are collected from the GreenOK office or
there is insufficient evidence of cross-border transport, GreenOK applies VAT or refers
the transaction for an individual accountant’s review.
8. Delivery and transfer of risk
Delivery territories, restrictions and arrangements are described on the Delivery
page. The methods and charges available for a particular order are calculated
and displayed at checkout; that order record is decisive, rather than an earlier
example of delivery rates.
In Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia, we deliver the order no later than 10 days after payment is confirmed, unless a different delivery period has been agreed.
For a consumer purchase, if GreenOK offers or arranges the carrier,
the risk of accidental loss of or damage to the goods passes to the consumer when the consumer
or a third party designated by them, other than the carrier, takes possession of the goods.
9. Right of withdrawal, returns and refunds
Consumers have the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, subject to
the applicable conditions and exceptions. GreenOK does not offer an additional voluntary
return period. The full procedure is available on the Withdrawal,
Returns and Refunds page, and the
model form is on the Withdrawal Form page.
For return conditions, the goods are grouped into three main categories: liquid products,
including white-line and brown-line products; powder and granulated products;
and accessories or other non-consumable goods. Membership of a category does not, in itself,
remove the right of withdrawal, but opening, using, pouring or
transferring liquids or pouring loose products into another container, mixing, wetting or contaminating the product, reducing its quantity or
storing it improperly may result in a reduction of the value of the goods of up to
their full value, in accordance with the actual evidence.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal apply only if the goods actually meet the conditions laid down by law and the buyer was given the required information before ordering. A seal or warning notice does not, in itself, remove the right of withdrawal. The full procedure is available on the Right of Withdrawal and Returns page.
10. Goods not conforming to the contract
The rules on the right of withdrawal do not limit a consumer’s rights if the goods are damaged, incorrect or do not conform to the contract. Write to [email protected] about the problem, stating the order number, a description of the problem and your preferred solution and, if possible, attaching supporting information. GreenOK may ask for the goods to be made available for inspection. Agree the return arrangements with GreenOK before sending the goods.
The consumer may first request that the lack of conformity be remedied free of charge or that the goods be replaced, except where the chosen solution is impossible or would entail disproportionate costs. In cases provided for by law, the consumer may request a price reduction or cancellation of the contract and a refund. Complaints about a lack of conformity of the goods are considered in accordance with the procedure laid down in applicable legislation.
Opening the labelled primary bottle, bucket, sachet, canister, container or bag, or the absence of the outer delivery box, does not, in itself, remove rights arising from a lack of conformity. The full procedure is available on the Complaints and Dispute Resolution page.
11. GreenOK Loyalty and promotions
If the GreenOK Loyalty programme is active, the earning and use of Green Points,
the combination and adjustment of GreenOK loyalty discounts and coupons are governed by
the GreenOK Loyalty Terms. They do not limit
consumers’ mandatory rights.
Goods clearly identified in an offer and sold under one SKU, at one
total price and with a specified list of components as a set, constitute one promotional
unit. Withdrawal because of a change of mind applies to the whole set; GreenOK is not
obliged to accept the return of individual components of the set only, but the parties may
agree to this separately in writing. This does not limit the right to seek a remedy provided
by law for a damaged, incorrect or non-conforming component of the
set.
12. Personal data, cookies and accessibility
The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, while
the use of device cookies and similar technologies is described in the Cookie
Policy. Information on the accessibility of the e-commerce service
and how to get in touch is available on the Accessibility
page.
13. Complaints, applicable law and version of the terms
The procedure for submitting complaints and out-of-court dispute resolution is described on the Complaints and
Dispute Resolution page. The laws of the Republic of Latvia apply to the contract,
but this choice does not deprive a consumer of the protection mandatorily granted under the laws of the country
in which the consumer is habitually resident, if those laws apply.
The version of the terms in force and retained at the time the order was
placed applies to the order. Later amendments do not change a contract already concluded, except
where provided for by law or expressly agreed by the parties.
