Choosing and using products
How do I choose a product?
Start with how you plan to use it: for spraying, watering, soil and compost, or professional growing. Then choose a plant or need. If you are unsure, use the Product finder or contact us.
How do the white and brown product lines differ?
Packaging colour helps you tell the lines apart at a glance. White-line products are filtered; foliar spraying is the recommended use, though they can also be used for watering. Brown-line products are intended for watering in the root zone; do not pour them into a sprayer, as unfiltered particles may clog filters and nozzles. If a correctly diluted brown-line solution also reaches the leaves when watering with a watering can, that is acceptable; the restriction applies to spraying with a sprayer.

Is manganese sulphate the same as magnesium sulphate (Epsom salt)?
They are two different fertilisers: manganese sulphate provides manganese (Mn), while magnesium sulphate (Epsom salt) provides magnesium (Mg). Choose the nutrient your plant needs.
