Farmers can operate intelligently and sustainably – improving the soil with Latvian-produced organic products from Green OK

Agricultural Exhibition Complex “Ramava” since 1992 has become a place where Latvian agricultural specialists meet, exchange experience and present the latest achievements of agricultural products and machinery. Such meetings take place twice a year: spring exhibitions showcase industry innovation, while autumn exhibitions have become an event where farmers gather after the harvest to discuss the latest trends and prepare for the next season.
A.M.L. Ltd. exhibitions have a good reputation and are supported by the Ministry of Agriculture, industry associations, agricultural companies and visitors.
Agricultural land occupies about 39% of Latvia’s territory. Intensive agricultural technologies and climatic conditions support the leaching of nutrients, pesticides, etc. from the soil. Soil degradation processes in Latvia are increasing due to soil acidification, organic matter and nutrient depletion in the soil, and other factors caused by the lack of homogeneous vegetation and organic fertilizers. Therefore, the Latvian producer of humic substances, “Ražošanas Tehnoloģijas” Ltd., advises farmers to carry out general soil improvement as one of the most important work this autumn.
