Sapropel product of natural origin is suitable for use in organic agriculture in accordance with Commission Regulation (EC) No. 889/2008, Article 3, Clause 1.

Preparation and use of the working solution:
We recommend using 5-10 liters of concentrate diluted with 200 liters of water for processing one hectare. The unfiltered product is for watering and the filtered product is for misting. The pH of the prepared working solution is 7 ± 0.5. Can be used again 14 days after the first treatment. Further treatment should be carried out 2 – 4 times per season as necessary, especially if the soil has a high sand content. It is recommended to use before sowing or planting plants and after harvesting.
Research and field trials:
In cooperation with the Institute of Agro-Resources and Economics, Priekuļi Research Center, after the harvest of organically grown potatoes, soil analysis in the fall of 2017 confirms that 60% of phosphorus (P2O5) and 15% of potassium (K2O) in the soil are released and available to plants. The study also confirms that the organic matter (OR) in the soil is maintained and/or the (OR) index improves over a long period.
