Description
Gardeners recommend magnesium sulphate, and agricultural enterprises around the world regularly use it to grow various flowers, including roses, violets, petunias and balsams, flowering shrubs such as magnolias, and vegetables including cucumbers, peppers and tomatoes.
When should magnesium sulphate be used?
Use the fertiliser if plant leaves keep drying out, their edges turn brown, leaves fall and fruit does not ripen because the plants are not taking up nutrients from the soil.
Magnesium sulphate is generally used as a fertiliser on its own, although it can be combined with other products to increase yield and crop quality. Do not exceed the recommended dose.
Root feeding
Apply 4-5 times during the growing season at intervals of 15-20 days – 15 g (1 tablespoon) per 10 L of water. It is preferable to add 50 ml of GreenOK BIOKOMPOST potassium humate. Working-solution use: 10 L per 5 m².
Foliar feeding
To reduce plant stress caused by mineral-nutrient deficiency, lighting conditions, temperature changes or treatment with chemical plant-protection products, use 15 g per 1 L of water. It is preferable to add 5 ml of Brūnais Zelts potassium humate per litre of solution.
Working-solution use: 1-2 L per 10 m² or until the foliage is fully wet.
Apply foliar feed in dry, cloudy weather, early in the morning or in the evening.
