What is superphosphate?
Mineral fertilizer containing 19% plant-available phosphorus expressed as P₂O₅. In addition to phosphorus, it also contains calcium and sulfur. Among vegetable crops, it is most needed by potatoes, cucumbers, tomatoes, cabbage, carrots, and garlic. Among fruit crops – apple trees, pear trees, cherry trees, and plum trees.
Effect: Improves root growth, accelerates fruit ripening, and increases yield.
• Stronger roots
• Better overwintering
• More abundant flowering of ornamental plants
• Higher-quality harvest
Why use it in autumn?
• Phosphorus is not washed out by rain – it has time to distribute through the soil and become available by spring
• Improves root formation and winter hardiness
• Increases yield for the following season
Tip: In autumn, the dry form is preferred – phosphorus is distributed evenly in the soil and becomes available in spring.
Application.
Superphosphate can be used both dry and as a solution.
In dry form – spread evenly and incorporate into the soil when digging. Especially convenient in autumn.
As a solution – add 2 tablespoons to 10 L of hot water, leave to infuse for 24 hours, then water the plants.
Recommended application rates.
At an average application rate of 1-2 tablespoons per 1 m², 5 L of product is enough for an area of approximately 230 m².
Warning: Do not use together with substances that deacidify the soil, such as lime or ash.
Storage: Protect from prolonged exposure to sunlight. Store at temperatures from +5°C to +30°C.
Shelf life: 5 years.
